Production Environment

New

  • Conversations:
    • All templates will now include up to 25 options for multi-select and scale questions
    • All templates will now include the option to set a hard word limit for paragraph answers
  • Engage
    • The 2022 benchmarks have been added for use in survey reports
    • Admins will now see a warning message if they attempt to launch a survey without including the translations for the languages that were selected in the earlier step 
  • Feedback:
    • All templates will now include up to 25 options for multi-select and scale questions

  • Mobile (Betterworks iOS and Android apps):

Updates

  • Analytics:
    • HR Admins will now be able to view the private goals of users (scope applied) from the Manager Insights dashboard
    • Report notifications will now display download buttons (as opposed to download links)
  • Calibration (formerly Performance):
    • The Manager Notifications Calibration Report will now display the applicable box labels from the calibration template
    • The 9box and histogram will now only refresh when there are talent record changes that directly impact them
    • The styling will be changed to display a clear icon in the session search box
  • Goals (formerly OKRs):
    • Error messages and icons will be added to the goal creation page so that users will know which aspects of their goal need to be corrected before they can successfully submit it
  • Integrations:
    • The introduction text in the Betterworks app for MS Teams has been correct to display the current Support email address

Bug Fixes

  • Calibration (formerly Performance):
    • The "Select Participant" manager drop-down menu will now display all managers in scope
  • Conversations:
    • The alignment error of the "End Date" column (Conversation module list view) will be corrected
    • The Conversation module header will no longer be highlighted when a Super Admin goes to edit a conversation template (the Admin module header will be highlighted instead as that is where conversation templates reside)
    • If a Super Admin elects to have confidential questions made available during a scheduled conversation cycle, participants will no longer receive the confidential questions notification after the cycle has ended
    • HR Admins will no longer be able to see confidential question responses submitted by their manager
    • The Conversations module list view will no longer be distorted for skip level managers
    • The "You" and "Them" column names in the Conversations module list view have been changed to "Employee Status" and "Manager Status" for more clarity
    • Headers in the Conversations module list view will once again display for skip level managers 
    • When viewing a conversation, Super Admins will no longer receive a when clicking the back arrow button
  • Engage:
    • Dynamic tenure dimensions will now be added automatically after setting them up in Lifecycle Analysis
    • Previously missing French (Canada) translations have been added
    • The "Added by criteria" section of a survey will now display the correct user count for Onboarding, Alumni, and Exit surveys
  • Feedback:
    • Anytime give - Providers will no longer be able to save multiple feedback cards (from the same corresponding template) in draft mode
    • Anytime give - The recipient drop-down menu will now display preferred names if/when they are available
    • Anytime give - Changes made to the feedback template will no longer be reflected in feedback that is already in progress
    • All feedback cards will now load in Firefox (internet browser)
    • The erroneous "Request feedback for [user_name]" text will be corrected
    • The erroneous "[user_name] has not received any feedback yet" text will be corrected
    • The "Contributor" column (Conversations module list view) will no longer display multiple times when a user toggles from "Current" to "Past"
    • The "To-Do" alert (bell at the top-right corner of the Betterworks application) will clear once feedback has been provided
    • Users will now be able to search for full names in Feedback → Request and Feedback → Give
    • Users will no longer receive an error message in Feedback → Give when clicking "Cancel"
    • Anytime requests and anytime manager requests - Questions will once again be displayed when providers are added to the request
  • Goals (formerly OKRs):
    • Private goals will once again display a lock icon in the Goals module list view
    • When progress is updated, the aria-label for screen readers will now update automatically (as opposed to requiring a page refresh)
  • Platform:
    • API - The "assign roles" endpoint will now only return users who were modified via PUT calls
    • Error notifications related to our HRIS integration will once again include downloadable CSV files (as opposed to PGP files)

  • Integrations:
    • Users will now be able to integrate milestones with Microsoft Excel 365
    • Betterworks plugin for Gmail - Users will be now able to answer or skip optional feedback questions
  • Mobile (Betterworks iOS and Android apps):
    • Users will now be able to answer or skip optional feedback questions
    • Additional security is being proactively added in order to prevent Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) 
  • Platform:
    • Super Admins will now have the ability to clear data fields (via CSV or our HRIS integration) by entering a value of "bw_null"
    • Super Admins will now be able to filter the administrator list (in Admin → User Management → Administrators)

Updates

  • Feedback:
    • The warning text will be made more clear (i.e. "Avery and their manager can view this feedback" and "Avery and their manager will know you wrote this feedback")
  •  Goals (formerly OKRs):
    • Super Admins will now be able to limit the number of default tabs that display in the Goals module 
    • The text that displays in the Goals module list view when a user's search returns zero results, will now read: "There are either no goals for this business period, or the goals matching your criteria are confidential" 
    • The text that displays in the Goals module chart view (specifically, Goals Contributing to Top Company Goals) when a user's search returns zero results, will now read: "None of the goals in your current filter align to any Top Company Goals"
  • Platform:
    • Audit logging will now contain conversation, feedback, and recognition data
    • Audit logging will now contain expanded goal data (i.e. cheers, nudges, etc.)

Bug Fixes

  • Calibration (formerly Performance):
    • User and department names (as opposed to user and department IDs) will once again display when a session has been filtered
  • Conversations:
    • The Request to Edit list (in Admin → Program Management → Conversations → Settings) will no longer show requests for anytime conversations that have since been deleted by the manager
    • Super Admins will once again be able to clone inactive templates
  • Feedback:
    • Incorrect visibility text will be corrected
    • Users will no longer be able to add the same feedback provider multiple times (in the same initial request)
    • The broken link in scheduled templates will be corrected
    • The "To-Do" count (bell at the top-right corner of the Betterworks application) will once again match the actual number of feedback requests
  • Goals (formerly OKRs):
    • The "Updated" column (Goals module) will now accurately reflect goals and milestone updates
  • Integrations:
    • Betterworks plugin for Gmail - If a Super Admin sets the plural of "Feedback" to "Feedbacks" (in Admin → Platform Configuration → Naming) will now default to singular when appropriate in order to match the surrounding text
