Production Environment

Updates

  • Analytics:
    • The "Export CSV" button in the Usage Dashboard will be replaced with an "Email Report" button to trigger an automated email containing a download link
    • The "Underlying Data" tab in the Usage Dashboard will now contain additional filter options (i.e. Parent Departments, Managers, Top-level Leaders, Second-level Leaders, and Location)
    • The objective updates displayed in the Execution Insights dashboard will now align with objective updates in the Objective module even if the update behavior has been customized on the backend
    • The tooltip for "Effective Conversations" in the Manager Insights v2 dashboard will be updated for clarity
  • Engage:
    • Multi-select survey questions will now be enabled by default
    • Polls and lifecycle analysis will now be enabled by default
    • Helper text will be added to the "Manager" filter in survey reports
    • The User Management template will no longer be static (containing only default dimensions) and instead include dimensions that have been added by the administrator(s)
    • Administrators will now be able to re-add users who were previously deleted 
  • Feedback:
    • Under Anytime Feedback, managers will see the note: "Get feedback on yourself or direct reports" instead of just "Get feedback on yourself"
    • When a manager requests feedback on behalf of their direct report, they'll now see the note: "The following question(s) will be asked about [direct report's name]" instead of "The following question(s) will be asked about you"
  • Platform:
    • For in-app guides, administrators will be able to create guides for and hide guides from, specific user groups

Bug Fixes

  • Conversations:
    • The "Answers are locked" message will no longer display when the ability to edit is still available
    • Question fields will no longer display in an active state once the conversation is moved to the "Past" view
    • A conversation's status will no longer display as "Complete" to a skip level manager if the manager still needs to answer confidential questions
  • Engage: 
    • Administrators and managers with Insights Access will now be able to filter survey comments on the preset eNPS question
  • Feedback:
    • Feedback recipients will once again be able to add/remove providers during a scheduled feedback cycle via Feedback → Request (provided that the feedback template is set up so that recipients can nominate providers and it is within the nomination period)
    • Various visual display issues will be corrected (i.e. line breaks, missing button images, and field misalignment) 
    • The Skip level visibility message will no longer display to a feedback provider (in Feedback → Give) when a manager requests feedback on behalf of their direct report
    • The icon of a user that has been nominated as a feedback provider will no longer display on the pending provider list once they've actively declined
  • OKRs:
    • The progress of key results and aligned objectives (in the Objectives list view) will once again be reflected in the "Updated" column 
  •  Performance:
    • The "Unrated" option in the histogram of a Calibration session will once again display the correct count
    • The description of the "Name" field in a Calibration session will once again display the correct information
    • A Super Admin will no longer be able to filter on their own name in a Calibration session
  • Platform:
    • An issue that prevented the users from logging into Betterworks via the mobile Google Chrome browser (not the Betterworks mobile app) has been corrected
    • The "Learn more" link (under Admin → Platform Configuration → Naming) will once again take administrators to the correct Knowledge Base article
    • Administrators will once again have the option to enable exclusions when creating a Calibration session
    • The user interface will longer distort when there are two rows of filter values in the Calibration session detail
    • Deleted comments will no longer show in Calibration exports
    • HR Admins will be able to delete their sessions
    • The HR Admin running the Calibration session can now change an existing compensation raise value to a blank

  • Feedback:
    • Users who have been nominated to provide anytime feedback will now be able to save their responses in draft mode
    • Users will now be able to request anytime feedback from the same user once their initial request has either expired or been actively declined
  • Performance:
    • Administrators will now be able to filter on a user's name within a Calibration session
    • The Calibration cycle tables will now show the reason for any processing errors
    • The Calibration cycle tables will now show when the cycle was last processed
    • Administrators can now export the Talent Records Report by box for an entire Calibration cycle

Updates

  • Feedback:
    • The feedback cards in Give → To Do will now display the template name and due date at the top
  • Performance:
    • The styling for the talent record table will be updated
    • Filter values that do not apply to the user pool in a session detail will now be grayed out
    • HR Admins will be able to use the "Export by 9box" option from within a Calibration cycle
    • The pagination bar will be moved to the bottom of the cycles table within the updated user interface
    • The "Export" button in the Calibration session detail will now have a tooltip
    • Lock icons will now indicate locked Calibration sessions and cycles
    • When filtering in a Calibration session, the "Cancel" and "Apply" buttons will no longer display as active unless applicable

Bug Fixes

  • Conversations:
    • Skip level managers will once again be able to share conversations (provided that they have "can edit" access)
    • If a user has received feedback, the feedback will once again display in the right-side panel of the conversation response page of future conversations
    • Display cursors will be corrected for locked questions (i.e. scale and multiple-choice) 
    • An informative validation message will now display if a manager attempts to initiate an anytime conversation using a template that only their own manager can trigger
    • Super Admins will no longer be able to save conversation templates where confidential questions are due the day after the cycle ends (2 days will be the default)
    • In conversations where all questions (including confidential questions) have been answered, the status will once again display as complete 
    • HR Admins will once again receive the applicable data when attempting to generate conversation reports for users within their scope (as opposed to a blank file)
  • Feedback:
    • The padding & styling of collapsed feedback cards will be made more uniform
    • Feedback will no longer be marked as "shared" when the provider has not actually shared feedback
    • If a user is nominated to provide feedback, they will once again be able to see requests under Give → To Do
    • Feedback providers will once again be able to open and collapse feedback cards under Give → To Do
    • Stale anytime feedback requests (requests that have either not been answered or actively declined) will be automatically cleared after 28 days
    • If a user has already been nominated to provide feedback (and the request has not yet expired or been answered), that user will no longer display in the drop-down menu of potential providers
    • The banner that informs feedback providers of who will see their feedback will be corrected to reference the correct parties
    • The feedback template name will once again be displayed in feedback reports
    • Feedback will be sorted in descending order under Give → Completed 
    • The text in the manager-requested feedback templates will be updated to reference "manager" rather than "people"
  • Platform:
    • Missing created/modified_on and UUIDs will be added to various endpoints
    • The bell at the top-right corner of a user's Betterworks account will no longer show a To-Do notification if there aren't any actions to take
    • In-app guides will no longer display on the Betterworks login page (only once the user has successfully logged in)
