Production Environment

* Any mobile or integration updates are subject to approval by the Apple App Store, Google Play Store, and/or the application that Betterworks is integrating with.

New

  • Calibration:
    • Talent record mapping has been moved out of scheduled conversation templates and into the "Create a Calibration Cycle" flow
    • Administrators can add rating types that aren't mapped to a conversation in the "Create a Calibration Cycle" flow
  • Engage:
    • If a survey's open-text questions are written in English, but a survey participant responds in a different language, users with access to the survey responses will have the option to translate the responses (available for most languages) 
    • The Favorability Comparison in survey reports will compare the current favorability rating to the previous survey's favorability rating (as opposed to comparing the initial survey that was linked which may have taken place a year prior)

Update

  • Analytics:
    • HR Insights
      • Text updates have been made to the Conversation Status Summary to increase clarity and consistency
  • Data Platform:
    • Advanced Analytics
      • All conversation responses (as opposed to just responses from open-text questions) are available in Advanced Analytics
      • Conversation responses that were shared during the grace period are available in Advanced Analytics
      • Calibration data shown in Advanced Analytics no longer includes 0 ratings

Bug Fixes

  • 1:1s:
    • A bug that prevented reminder notifications from being sent 1 hour before a 1:1 has been fixed
  • Analytics:
    • A bug that caused a lag when generating reports has been fixed
    • A bug that prevented the report start and end date fields (Admin → Reporting → Reports) from populating based on the organization's current business period has been fixed
  • Conversations:
    • A grammatical error in the conversation detail page has been fixed
    • A bug that allowed Super Admins to select the dates for an Admin Review Period before selecting the cycle dates in a scheduled conversation template has been fixed
    • A bug that allowed some HR Admins to view responses to confidential questions about themselves (if the conversation template was configured with HR Admin visibility) has been fixed
  • Engage:
    • A bug that caused users to see an error message in the Kiosk (for organizations that have the Kiosk feature enabled) has been fixed
    • A bug that prevented a user's department and locale from being sent from Betterworks Core to Betterworks Engage (for organizations that share data between the two applications) has been fixed
    • A bug that prevented data from displaying due to the anonymity threshold even when the threshold was met (or when the survey was not anonymous) has been fixed
  • Feedback: 
    • A bug that prevented word limit validation in feedback templates has been fixed
    • A bug that prevented the skip level visibility option from displaying in the anytime manager-request feedback templates has been fixed 
    • A bug that prevented the "Select feedback recipient" step in the Feedback → View flow from being translated into the user's language has been fixed
  • Integrations:
    • A bug that prevented goals from being exported to PowerPoint (PPT) has been fixed

Preview Environment: Coming In 2 Weeks

New

  • Calibration:
    • Calibration ratings will be included on the Performance Snapshot page and in the Print Summary.
    • Custom naming will be used in the warning modals and help text when selecting a previously mapped template
  • Integrations:
    • Slack
      • New Betterworks users will have the Betterworks Slackbot installed automatically (as opposed to having an administrator add the Slackbot for them)
    • UKG Pro
      • Administrators will have the ability to sync user data going back to resync data going back to the date of the first sync

Update

  • Analytics:
    • Manager Insights
      • A "Conversation Name" filter will be added for easier data splicing

Bug Fixes

  • App Platform:
    • A bug that causes phone numbers to disappear from a user's profile when the profile is updated will be fixed
    • A bug that prevents the Performance Snapshot from displaying due to a business calendar issue will be fixed
  • Conversations:
    • A bug that prevents a tooltip in the conversation detail page from being translated into the user's language will be fixed
    • A bug that causes a "Your conversation is complete" notification to display when a conversation participant unchecks the "Confirm meeting" box will be fixed
    • A bug that prevents the updated side of a conversation from displaying in the print summary when an edit request has been approved will be fixed
  • Data Platform:
    • Advanced Analytics
      • A bug that prevents some users from accessing charts and guidebooks via the "Share" link will be fixed
  • Feedback:
    • A bug that prevents the applicable field from being highlighted when an error is found in a feedback template will be fixed
    • A bug that allowed users to change scale-type responses on completed feedback will be fixed
    • A bug that prevents feedback edit requests from being displayed on the To-do notifications will be fixed
    • A bug that prevents users from requesting feedback from a user who reports to the same manager will be fixed
