New
- 1:1s:
- If a user has more than one recurring event with the same colleague, they can view and select from all of the recurring events when creating a 1:1 series
- After a user connects their calendar to the 1:1s module, it will sync once every hour
- Analytics:
- Administrators can download data from previous 1:1s via the 1:1s report (Admin → Program Management → Reporting → Reports → 1:1s)
- In the Conversation Status section of HR Insights, administrators can select from the list of managers who have not completed their conversation and click "Send Reminders" to trigger an external email with the selected managers in the BCC field
- In the Conversation Status section of HR Insights, administrators can select from the list of managers and click "Email Report" to trigger an external email with the selected managers in the BCC field
- When an administrator downloads a report from the Admin module (Admin → Program Management → Reporting → Reports) the filters that were applied are referenced in the Excel file

- The Audit Log Report tracks users who enable progress locking, users who disable progress locking, and users who update the # of days for progress locking to take effect
- Integrations:
- Organizations have the option to enable the UKG Pro integration directly (this previously required intervention from Betterworks engineers)
- For organizations who have moved to the new UKG Pro integration, Super Admins will be able to force a sync and receive an automated email if there is an error
Update
- 1:1s:
- Once a 1:1 series is no longer active it is automatically moved to the "Inactive" tab (as opposed to having to be moved manually by the user)
- Before a 1:1 email reminder is sent, the Betterworks application checks for any updates to the related event in the user's calendar
- If a user attempts to create a 1:1 that doesn't occur on an interval of 15, 30, or 45 minutes, the time will automatically be updated to the next interval (i.e. a time of 11:39 AM will automatically be updated to 11:45 AM)
- Engage:
- The message that displays when a survey report's data is limited due to the anonymity threshold has been expanded for clarity
- The "Separation (Calculated)" column used for internal tracking has been removed from the User Management module to avoid confusion
Bug Fixes
- 1:1s:
- A bug that forced users to refresh their page in order to see agenda topics and action items that were rolled over from a previous 1:1 has been fixed
- Analytics:
- A bug that caused the 1:1s report to display "0mins" instead of "60mins" for 1:1s that had a duration of 60 minutes has been fixed
- A bug that caused the Feedback Answers Report to generate with column headers, but no data, has been fixed
- A text correction has been made in the Recognition Report to replace mentions of "goals" with "recognition"
- App Platform:
- A bug that allowed users to create a goal through API without setting the scope and type attributes for the associated milestone (when scope and type were required) has been fixed
- Conversations:
- A bug that prevented conversation participants from seeing the new due date after an edit request was approved has been fixed (specific to conversations that contain confidential questions)
- A bug that allowed Super Admins to enable the overdue notification option (Step 7: Notifications) in a scheduled conversation template, then save the template without entering a number, has been fixed
- Engage:
- A bug that caused display issues in the Voice mobile (legacy feature) for users viewing Betterworks Engage on a mobile browser has been fixed
- A bug that prevented users from exporting the Heatmap section of a survey report after applying filters will be fixed
- A bug that caused Sentiment data to display in survey reports when the Sentiment feature was disabled has been fixed
- A bug that prevented notifications from being sent to users via the Beekeeper integration when the integration was enabled has been fixed
- Feedback:
- A bug that prevented users from expanding feedback cards if feedback was given anonymously has been fixed
- A bug that prevented managers from selecting some direct reports from the "Request feedback for" drop-down menu has been fixed
- A bug that caused administrators to receive an edit request for feedback that had already been deleted has been fixed
Preview Environment: Coming In 2 Weeks
New
- 1:1s:
- Users will be able to import recurring events that are outside of the currently accepted weekly, biweekly, triweekly, and monthly cadences
- Feedback:
- Super Admins will be able to configure a scheduled feedback cycle's nomination period to 1 day (the previous minimum was 3 days)
Update
- 1:1s:
- If a user has connected their calendar to the 1:1s module, moving one instance of a recurring event to a different day/time will no longer prevent them from manually creating a 1:1 or prevent the Betterworks application from automatically creating a 1:1 based on the recurring event's original cadence
- For recurring events that are canceled in the Google Calendar using the "This and the following..." option, the upcoming 1:1 will automatically be updated with a strikethrough
- Goals:
- When a goal is reassigned, the previous owner's role will be automatically updated to Editor instead of Participant
- Integrations:
- If progress locking is enabled, milestones that are connected to third-party applications (i.e. JIRA, Google Sheets, etc.) will stop syncing
- Administrators using the updated UKG Pro integration will be able to sync additional fields such as "seniority" and "hire date"
- Administrators using the updated UKG Pro integration will be able to configure specific employee types to sync

- A bug that prevents users from importing events with a timeframe of "all day" will be fixed
- Analytics:
- Help text that references "assessments" in HR Insights will be removed to avoid confusion among organizations that don't have the assessments feature enabled
- A bug that prevents users from being taken to their email client after clicking "Email Report" in HR Insights will be fixed
- A bug that caused users to receive a "No data available..." message when expanding results in the Conversation Response section of HR Insights will be fixed
- A bug that prevents users from scrolling through the "Departments" menu when generating reports (Admin → Program Management → Reports) will be fixed
- Feedback:
- A bug that allows some administrators to view feedback submitted for them even when their visibility is disabled in the feedback template will be fixed
- A bug that prevents users from submitting an edit request during a scheduled feedback cycle's grace period will be fixed
- A bug that prevents users from nominating feedback providers during the grace period when the option to do so is enabled will be fixed
- A bug that prevents users from re-requesting feedback from a user after an initial request is declined will be fixed
