Production Environment

* Any mobile or integration updates are subject to approval by the Apple App Store, Google Play Store, and/or the application that Betterworks is integrating with.

New

  • Engage:
    • If topical text analysis is enabled custom questions with open text will now display in the word cloud (Survey → Report → Categories)
    • Multi-language support will now be enabled for all organizations by default
  • Feedback: 
    • When a user declines a feedback request, they will now be able to include a reason and trigger an automated email to the requester

    • HR Insights
      • Users will now be able to filter all 5 metrics based on the "groups" configured in the application

    • Survey report segmentation (specifically "Participation") will now be sorted in descending order
    • Administrators will now be able to deselect eligibility criteria after saving a survey (before launch)
  • Feedback: 
    • HR Admins will now be able to approve or deny feedback edit requests made by users in their scope (Admin → Program Management → Feedback Settings → Requests to edit)
  • Integrations: 
    • An automated email will now be sent to the applicable point of contact if there is an error with an organization's UKG Pro integration

  • Analytics:
    • Manager Insights
      • A bug that caused a misalignment between the user icon and details has been fixed
    • Execution Insights
      • A bug that caused the user interface to break for some users when they click "Company Average" in the Team Owned view has been fixed
      • A bug that caused the user interface to break for some users when they click on an empty heatmap has been fixed
    • A bug that prevented deactivated users from being included in the All Goals Report has been fixed
  • Conversations:
    • A bug that triggered a "Conversation Complete" message even though the "Confirm Meeting" button is inactive has been fixed
    • A bug that caused the "Confirm Meeting" button to display for every conversation whether or not the option is enabled in the associated template has been fixed
    • A bug that triggered a "Confirm Meeting" button instead of a "View Conversations" button (if the conversation template is configured so that skip level managers can view the associated conversations) has been fixed
    • A bug that caused the additional contributors icon to display in the Conversations list view even when additional contributors are disabled in the associated template has been fixed
    • A bug that prevented some Super Admins from selecting cycle dates via the calendar icon has been fixed
    • A bug that allowed some Super Admins to view their manager's conversations from their Previous Conversations list (when they should only be able to view those conversations from the Admin module) has been fixed
    • A bug that triggered "An error occurred" message when a Super Admin attempted to undeploy a conversation template has been fixed
    • A bug that prevented some conversation participants from submitting a request to edit in the "after-meeting" period has been fixed
    • A bug that prevented conversation notifications from going out to some users (despite the options in the conversation template and System Notifications being enabled) has been fixed

    • A bug that triggered an "Unable to save survey" error when an administrator attempts to add participants to a survey has been fixed
    • A bug that caused translations from a previous survey to display in the survey invite of a new survey has been fixed
    • A bug that caused a continuous page refresh when for some administrators when they attempt to update survey introduction text (Settings → App Settings → Surveys) has been fixed
    • A bug that prevented users from creating action plans has been fixed
    • A spacing/padding issue in Settings → App Settings has been fixed
    • A bug that prevented some users from exporting survey reports to CSV has been fixed
    • A bug that prevented users of the Voice feature (legacy) from viewing more posts after clicking "Display More" has been fixed
    • A bug that prevented some users from viewing survey report data due to the anonymity threshold (despite the threshold having been reached) has been fixed
  • Feedback:
    • A bug that triggered a syntax error when some managers attempted to expand a star or scale-type question in the Feedback Summary has been fixed
    • A bug that prevented star or scale-type responses from being aggregated in the Feedback Summary has been fixed
    • A bug that prevented notes from displaying in anytime feedback if the feedback is submitted before it can be saved as a draft has been fixed
    • A bug that caused feedback to be visible immediately (when the associated template is configured so that feedback is only visible after the cycle ends) has been fixed
    • A bug that caused a provider's initial feedback to disappear if they submitted an edit request and didn't make any changes has been fixed 
    • A bug that prevented feedback from expiring on the applicable date has been fixed

  • Analytics:
    • Manager Insights:
      • Managers will now have a new metric of "employee updates to goals in the past [x] days"
      • Managers will now have a new metric of "employee updates to milestones in the past [x] days"
    • HR Insights
      • HR Admins will now be able to send the data as an Excel report via email (large reports may result in an email that contains multiple download links)  
  • App Platform: 
    • Search results from the banner search bar (top-right corner of the application) will now include user email addresses) 
  • Calibration: 
    • Employees will now be able to view and print their Performance Snapshot from their user profile
  • Conversations:
    • In scheduled conversation templates, Super Admins will now be able to trigger the "Confirm Meeting" button on a specific date
  • Feedback: 
    • In anytime feedback templates, Super Admins will now be able to enable reminder notifications
  • Integrations:
    • MS Teams
      • Users will now be able to add the Betterworks bot to any channel by typing "@Betterworks Help" followed by the Enter/Return key
    • Gmail & Outlook 
      • Users will now be able to view descriptions and add/view custom notes while requesting or giving feedback
    • LinkedIn Learning
      • LinkedIn Learning administrators (who are also Super Admins in Betterworks) will now be able to map users based on their ID instead of their email address

    • In scheduled conversation templates, Super Admins will now be able to lock the Admin Review Period so that no changes can be made while a cycle is in progress
  • Data Platform:
    • Performance improvements will be made to impact the application's overall loading speed

Bug Fixes

  • Conversations:
    • A bug that allows conversation participants to click on the "Confirm Meeting" button while the scheduled conversation cycle is in progress will be fixed
    • A bug that triggers an "Invalid [Conversation]" error when some users attempt to view a conversation will be fixed
    • A bug that triggers "An error occurred while trying to save the conversation" message when a user deselects an option for a star-type question on the conversation page will be fixed
    • A bug that prevents the share date from being displayed once the conversation is shared will be fixed
    • A bug that prevents some Super Admins from deploying a conversation template will be fixed
    • A bug that prevents the additional/confidential question due date from displaying (when those questions are due after the regular conversation) will be fixed 
    • A bug that prevents conversation participants from saving or sharing responses unless they respond to an optional star-type question will be fixed
  • Feedback:
    • A bug that allows users to make more than one request for anytime feedback from the same provider using the same template will be fixed

      • A wording discrepancy will be corrected

      • A bug that triggers a progress error on connected milestones will be fixed

      • A bug that causes goal and milestone names to get cut off when the Goals list is exported to PowerPoint will be fixed
